ANIMAL CARE ASSISTANT / ANIMAL CARE WORKER
Location: Mong Kok, Hong Kong
Position: Animal Care Assistant / Animal Care Worker
Employment: Full-Time
Working Hours: Shift-based
Salary: HK$20,000–28,000/month
Training: On-the-job training provided
A veterinary facility in Mong Kok, Hong Kong is recruiting responsible, caring, hardworking, and detail-oriented individuals to join its animal care team.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
– Care for cats, dogs, and hospitalized animals
– Assist with feeding and daily animal care
– Monitor animals and report unusual conditions
– Handle animals safely and carefully
– Clean and maintain cages, kennels, and animal areas
– Assist veterinarians and veterinary nurses with daily tasks
– Maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe workplace
– Follow veterinary team instructions and workplace procedures
REQUIREMENTS
– Genuine interest in animals
– Responsible, patient, and attentive
– Hardworking and willing to learn
– Able to follow instructions
– Good teamwork and communication skills
– Comfortable working shifts
– Able to work in a veterinary and animal-care environment
– Willing to perform cleaning and routine care duties
EXPERIENCE
Experience in veterinary clinics, animal hospitals, pet shops, pet hotels, animal shelters, grooming salons, or other animal-care environments is an advantage.
No relevant experience? Candidates who are willing to learn may also apply. On-the-job training will be provided to suitable applicants.
CAREER DEVELOPMENT
Gain practical experience in animal care, feeding, safe animal handling, hygiene management, hospitalized-animal support, and veterinary team operations.
