Pet Shop Staff / Animal Care Staff

Salary: ¥180,000–¥250,000 per month
Job Description
We are looking for responsible and caring individuals to join a pet shop team in Japan. The position involves caring for cats, dogs, and other pets, as well as supporting daily store operations.
Candidates should have a genuine interest in animals, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work carefully and professionally.
Main Responsibilities
– Daily care of puppies, kittens, and other pets
– Providing food and water
– Monitoring animals’ health and behavior
– Cleaning cages, pet areas, and store facilities
– Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness
– Managing and restocking pet food and supplies
– Assisting customers with product information
– Supporting sales and general store operations
– Maintaining an organized and comfortable environment for animals
Training Provided
Previous experience is not required. New employees can receive training on animal handling, daily pet care, hygiene management, and store operations.
Applicants with experience in pet shops, animal care, grooming salons, pet hotels, or related fields may receive preference.
Requirements
– Genuine interest in animals and pet care
– Responsible and reliable attitude
– Ability to work carefully and attentively
– Good teamwork and communication skills
– Willingness to learn new knowledge and skills
– Ability to follow workplace rules and procedures in Japan
– Previous experience in animal care or pet-related work is an advantage
