Cattery Assistant / Cat Care Worker

About the Position
A professional pet care facility in Kai Tak, Kowloon, Hong Kong is hiring a Cattery Assistant / Cat Care Worker to join its team.
This opportunity is suitable for people who genuinely enjoy working with cats and want to gain practical experience in the pet care industry. No previous experience is required, as training and guidance will be provided.
The successful candidate will assist with daily cat care, cleanliness, feeding, basic grooming, monitoring, and general cattery operations.
Key Responsibilities
– Provide daily care and attention to cats.
– Prepare and provide food according to feeding schedules.
– Ensure cats have clean, fresh drinking water.
– Clean cages, sleeping areas, and activity spaces.
– Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic cattery.
– Assist with basic daily cat-care routines.
– Monitor cats’ behavior, activity, and general condition.
– Report unusual behavior or health concerns to supervisors.
– Handle cats safely and carefully.
– Assist with basic grooming when required.
– Follow workplace hygiene and safety procedures.
– Support the team with daily cattery operations.
– Complete other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.

Employees will work in a clean and professional cattery alongside an experienced team. The role provides practical exposure to animal care, including feeding procedures, cleaning routines, safe animal handling, grooming support, and daily pet-care management.
